   Five months into owning this jacket and my honest assessment is that it has delivered on every specification it promised. Real leather that has developed character with wear rather than degrading. Six pockets that function properly in daily use. Zipper cuffs that still seal at the wrist the same way they did on the first day. Erect collar that holds its shape after months of being worn both zipped and open. Quilted shoulder panels that remain consistent and well defined through consistent use. Bought this expecting genuine leather quality to hold up over time and it has done exactly that without requiring anything beyond basic leather care.

   The quilted shoulder section extends across the upper back as well as the front. Checked that when the jacket arrived because some jackets only quilt the front shoulder panels and leave the back plain. This one is consistent all the way around which gives it a more complete and considered look from every angle.
